In today's session that presided over by Yahya Al-Raei, Hadramout Parliamentary Bloc announced the withdrawal from the Parliament as a sign of its objection because Parliament didn't discussed the Justice and Endowment Committee's report. The report is about the Parliament's note of the looting lands issue. The note was submitted by Hadramout Parliamentary Bloc and speaks about the project of tourist resort Dorat Almukalla (Alrayan Hadramout) which was scheduled to be discussed on Yesterday's session. MP Fouad Wakid expressed his surprise that Parliament cancelled the subject from the agenda. He said that we announce the suspension of attending the Parliament unless the issue of looting lands in Hadramout especially the project of Dorat Almukalla's land solves and the related judicial sentences are curried out. In an exclusive statement to the YPW, he said that we will discuss the issue with our constituencies and our Parliamentary bloc. He confirmed that if nothing would be changed then all options are open to recover our rights. The Speaker Yahya Al-Raei explained that the report has not finished yet so we can't discuss it. MP Sultan Albarakani accused the Justice and Endowment Committee of Procrastination in submitting the report. He asked Parliament to discuss the report on tomorrow's session. MP Aidaroos Alnaqeeb said that the MPs used to force the Parliament to discuss the important issues by withdrawing or sit-in. MP Najeeb Ghanem considered the withdrawal of Hadramout bloc as a sign of the injustice that the bloc feel.
The issue of government's attendance to explain the security and economic situations was discussed in the session. MP Ahmad Alkohlani (the Minister of Parliamentary and Shoura Affairs) explained that government asks Parliament to postpone the time of the question to the next week because the most of the concern Ministers travelled outside Yemen. MP Sakher Alwajeeh said that the government should appear before the Parliament tomorrow. The government doesn't respect its responsibilities. The government is selling the gas for a little price and in the same time it is raising the Diesel's price, he wondered. MP Aidaroos Alnaqeeb said that postponing the date of government's attendance would be like the Parliament neglects its responsibility of oversight the government's performance. He insist on the date of the government's attendance by tomorrow. Parliament finally agreed to postpone the government's attendance to the next week.
Parliament welcomed the agreement between the Join Meeting Parties JMPs and the General People's Congress (the ruler party). Yahya Al-Raei called all parties to be responsible for Yemen because the only winner is Yemen. The Parliament also discussed the of the Justice and Endowment Committee's second report of the draft of law about the Documentation. Parliament discussed Paragraph (2) of the article (9) and the Paragraph (b) of the article (30) in the documentation draft of law.
