YPWatch, June 27- A controversy and curses exchanging between the Justice and Construction bloc member Abdulaziz Jubari, and the GPC bloc member Ali Musa’ed Al-lahabi led to expelling them from the hall of the Parliament with a decision voted on by the Parliament.
The controversy between the MPs Al-Jubari and Al-lahabi took place due to asking the latter a question to Minister of Information Ali Al-Amrani about “Exiling many of the employees in the Ministry of Information and its offices in the governorates, and the lack of impartiality of official media outlets,” has increased to reach cursing.
While MP Al-lahabi was asking his question to the Minister of Information, MP Jubari encountered him defending the Minister of Information. Then, MP Al-lahabi answered him “hypocrite and complementing the Minister.” After that, controversy reached exchanging curses and shouting inside the hall, which led the Parliament Speaker Yahyia Al-Ra’ie to pose the decision of expelling them for vote. The Parliament voted on the decision of expelling them and preventing them from attending the rest of the session.
The Minister of Information clarified that he worked to reinstating journalists to their positions … indicating that law is the arbiter in the public position, and no one should feel exiled unless there is discrepancies in his function.
